I role play Gor and make no bones about that. It’s a chance to allow me to express things I cannot here. Recently there had been an onslaught or an epidemic I feel in Free Women having bouts of insanity. Which is really an insult and I know it. However, it seems like there are multiple women who feel that there is no limit to what they say to a man and expect him just to brush it off and be fine. That isn’t how it works. Not in the least to me anyhow. I get gobsmacked over some of that stuff but eh, rant over.

Recently I have been interviewing for a management position with Carolina West Wireless. They are a local cellular company but offer a broad range of service including nationwide coverage.

I want to start off by saying that what I say here is not in any way a conclusive answer. The points expressed are solely mine, if others choose to agree then so be it. You may not like or agree with what I will be saying but it is how I feel and I am unlikely to change that.

What is respect to you? Now, I mean this in the most basic of ways. So much a basic level that you should close your eyes and center yourself. Then look deep within and determine what respect means to you.

Does this respect that you have found within yourself have a bar level? Meaning is it given freely then left to see if someone will squander it away? Do you shout the often quoted and some what over used phrase;

Respect is earned, not given.

Why is it that people will take their days frustration and turn it upon those who matter most? It is foolish and only causes anguish for those who are kept close. It shows a lack of control. Work is work. It stays there and has no reason to come home. Home is home and it also stays at home and has no reason to come to work. It makes a person retaliate. Whether good or bad it does. It is a disrespect to turn such angst onto the ones you keep close only to expect them to take your anger and let it slide. I would never talk to anyone in that manner nor would I allow them to do so towards Me. I tell them, “Go away till you can muster up more respect to talk to Me as I am do not put Me lower than what I know. I am not your sounding board to be hated. I am here to listen but far from willing to be abused. Do not expect Me to ask how you are again for awhile.”

Well a bit of good news. I’ve got someone who has offered to help design templates for Home Stone Journals. That takes a bit of load off as eventually I plan on doing only one or two a month for users to try out. I think we got plenty up now but we’ll see.

I sit here now, it’s late like always and I wonder what I can do to help others. My brain never shuts off and I never try to turn it off. I enjoy helping others complete tasks or grow in some shape or form. It makes me wonder if this site will help. If so I’m glad. I love the Gorean community and feel at home in it.
